At 1591 Meters above sea level, located at the foot of the Toliman volcano, this village of 22,300 inhabitants, 85% of which are indigenous Kaqchikel and Tz'utuhil, is a place of tranquility. People here essentially work around the foothills in coffee plantations. Nice bay and public beach but not a very tourist-oriented destination. A place where you can find some waterfront houses but also a place away from everything. With picturesque views toward San Antonio Palopo. A perfect location if you have a house in Antigua or Guatemala City and you are looking for a weekend getaway.
